Inland from Half Moon Bay
This is off hwy 1 on a bluff. An airport looms over this first horizon, to my right and out of view, an ocean, and in the valley below where I sit, is a large horse farm. The dry forage rustled a song for me while I sat for hours working on those hazy purple hills. Acrylic on watercolor paper, 18 x 24.

Red trailer of Taos, NM
This little red trailer sat behind the parking lot of a cheap motel in Taos, NM where I spent a few nights. It looked like it hadn't been moved in years. The crates helped prop up the hitch-end, and a shabby exterior probably deterred the curious type from snooping. I could see from the open windows and a working air-conditioning unit that had been Gerry rigged into the side, it was still in use. Painted on site. Watercolor on paper. Available.
